Otters

Otters have little pouches under each forearm to store food gathered after long hunting hours. They also use the pouch to store stones as hunting tools.

North American otters are semi-aquatic mammals belonging to the family Mustelidae and are found across the continent in freshwater rivers, lakes, and coastal marine environments.

There are two species of otters native to North America

the river otter (Lontra canadensis) and the sea otter (Enhydra lutris).
